Introducing our growing international team of Mindfulness teachers with experience across health, education, communities and commerce:

Mira Schneiders - Antwerp, Belgium.

I was first introduced to mindfulness in 2015 during an 8-week MBSR course. Finding mindfulness practice to be enormously beneficial to my life and wellbeing, I have been practicing secular (mindfulness) and Buddhist meditation ever since. Feeling inspired to spread the benefits of mindfulness, I trained to become an MBCT mindfulness teacher at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre in 2019. Since then, I have taught mindfulness courses and drop-in sessions to university students, doctors, clinical populations, and the general public. I have a background in Psychology, a Masters in Global Health, and completed my doctorate studies in Population Health in 2020.

Lizzie Cambray - Cirencester, Glos, UK.

I am a Counselling Psychologist, having worked in the NHS for 10 years with people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.  I trained to teach Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy in 2007 with the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, and have delivered courses to hospital health professionals and to hard-to-reach groups.  For 6 years, I ran an independent organisation offering courses to a variety of clinical and non-clinical populations, and in more recent years  have continued co-facilitating courses and Retreat Days, mostly for GPs.  I undergo regular updates in my training to deepen my practice and to understand current research.

Suzanne Thomas - Cheltenham, Glos, UK.

I am an accredited independent Breathworks Mindfulness teacher based in Cheltenham and registered with BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches). I run mindfulness courses and drop -in sessions for local Cheltenham charities, as well as delivering my own courses.

I have been helping clients with a wide range of emotional health issues for many years. I worked as a cognitive behavioural therapist (CBT) within Gloucestershire NHS for a decade, with individuals as well as running group courses for stress and mindfulness. Prior to that, I managed and developed people in industry for over two decades in human resources management.  I retrained as a Breathworks teacher after leaving the NHS.

My passion is to help individuals improve the quality of their physical and emotional wellbeing and ultimately to gain more happiness and peace, despite their difficulties and challenges.

I am also passionate about the value of mindfulness. I believe that mindfulness can be seen as a gift or skill, that with practice becomes a lifelong way of being, enabling us to appreciate the ups and cope with the downs of life.

I love running courses because I find the positive energy, compassion and feedback from other participants can help others too.
